Wayne’s journey into the RV world traces back to his childhood, filled with cherished memories of weekends camping in state parks, soaking in lakeside joy and the beauty of the outdoors. His fascination with recreational vehicles ignited during humble tent camping days, evolving when his family acquired their first RV—a pickup truck with a camper shell—a pivotal moment that sparked Wayne’s enduring passion for all things RV-related.

From Truck Campers to Across the Nation

Wayne’s family upgraded to a pickup truck with a slide-in camper when he was six years old, kicking off their travels to numerous locales. Wayne’s father, a genuine RV aficionado, exchanged for numerous RV models while exploring states such as Florida, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and even making a memorable trip to Nebraska. Wayne’s grasp of the diverse world of recreational vehicles grew as a result of this experience.

Personal RV Adventures

Wayne began his own RV voyage, following in his father’s footsteps, with an old truck camper nestled in the bed of his truck. Despite the usual concerns that come with used RVs, such as water leaks and appliance problems, Wayne’s passion for his first camper remained unwavering. Each RV he had presented its own set of obstacles and benefits, strengthening Wayne’s enthusiasm for the lifestyle and the chances it provided.

A Transition into Travel Nursing

For the past six years, Wayne has embraced the life of a Travel Nurse, living in his RV and exploring the southeastern United States while working at different hospitals. His experiences have made him a go-to resource for fellow healthcare professionals seeking advice on RV choices and maintenance, further solidifying his role as a trusted guide in the RV community.

Commitment to RV Education

After retiring from a fulfilling career in nursing, Wayne still received inquiries from individuals seeking guidance in navigating the world of RVs. Recognizing a need for expertise in purchasing. operating, and maintaining RVs, Wayne dove deeper into his passion. He bolstered his knowledge by enrolling at the National RV Training Academy, where he earned his certifications as a Registered RV Technician and Certified RV Inspector, and proudly became a member of the National RV Inspectors Association (NRVIA). Eager to expand his expertise, Wayne pursued advanced education, completing Level 1 and 2 RV Technician courses at the RV Technical Institute (RVTI). Now armed with a formidable arsenal of skills and knowledge, Wayne provides inspections, maintenance, and consulting services, serving as a guiding beacon for those embarking on their RV living journey.

Homelife and Hobbies

Beyond his dedication to RVs, Wayne and his wife enjoy monthly RV outings. Wayne’s hobbies extend to photography and flying his drone, capturing the beauty of the open road.
